Cancellation Policy

The goal of this protocol is to support a container that feels safe to both of us - where you feel you are being good to you and me, and I feel I am being good to you and me. Thus, this policy follows the Cuddlist Opening Agreement.

  • We’ll verbally review this policy prior to beginning work together, to determine fit and consent: I want you to know and to feel good about what you are agreeing to!

  • Once an appointment is set up, please inform me as early as possible if scheduling needs change.

  • Cancellation is free if session is cancelled with at least 48 business hours. (Example: if your session is Thursday, cancel by Tuesday. If your session is Tuesday, cancel by the previous Friday.) By scheduling a session, a client is agreeing to send payment in full if notice is given fewer than 48 business hours ahead.

  • If I’m ill or potentially contagious, you don’t want to see me! If you’re ill or potentially contagious, I don’t want to see you either - in person, that is - so text me to switch to telehealth, or email me to reschedule at no charge.

Rates

Relational forms of therapy, such as Cuddle Therapy and Somatic Coaching - are intensive processes for both client and practitioner. It is important to me to be able to offer this work to historically underserved populations, while also abstaining from burnout, so I can bring all of my clients my best self. For this reason, you’ll find below a sliding scale - an anti-oppression, rate-based structure - wherein redistribution-range clients make it sustainable for me to serve my sliding scale clients. You choose your rate based on your answers.

Read through with pen and paper and tally your answers to determine your payment tier. Your work will not be checked, this is a self-selection process. It is meant as a guide, not a prescription. You know your financial reality better than any person or any scale.
